ETP Managing Director, John Kirkman, was humbled to recently accept on behalf of the team the award for "2018 Innovator of the Year Asia Pacific" from leading middleware integration platform supplier TIBCO.
ETP were recognised for our implementation of standards based integration in mining utilising TIBCO technology.
Mr Kirkman said "It's quite a shock and honour to be recognised with this award from a global technology leader (TIBCO), which has been recognised by Gartner as a leader in multiple domains including their integration, analytics and data science technologies".
ETP is involved in designing and implementing some game changing technology architectures for mining and are looking forward to sharing the interoperability in mining case studies for this i4.0 aligned work later in 2019.
TIBCO is also a technology partner of the University of Western Australia (UWA) ERDi i4.0 TestLab which ETP is leading. "We are very excited and are looking forward to establishing the TestLab in the next couple of months" said Mr Kirkman. "A lot of time and effort has been invested so far and there are a number of sponsors who are keen to ensure they don't miss their chance of being involved at the outset in this ground-breaking initiative."
ETP is working with a number of technology partners, mining and energy sector companies and UWA in the pursuit of modular, standards based, i4.0 aligned interoperability for mining, energy and manufacturing. The outputs of this initiative enables the true value to be realised from IoT, cloud, AI and analytics as well as automation of processes beyond physical equipment automation.
